Jordan Statement

On Tuesday, six days after his arrest on drug trafficking charges, Ellsworth businessman Patrick C. Jordan released a statement through his attorney. Here is a link to the story we published Wednesday about the statement. The complete text of the statement is posted below:

RELEASE FROM R.F. JORDAN & SONS, INC.

Recently, there has been considerable media coverage regarding the events of last week involving Patrick Jordan, President of R.F. Jordan & Sons, Inc.  The owners and employees of R.F. Jordan wish to assure their many valued clients and customers that they continue to have full faith in the leadership and guidance of Pat Jordan.   He has been an exemplary figure in the Ellsworth business community for many years, and his wholehearted and ongoing participation in the economic and charitable life of the Ellsworth and Hancock County communities will continue without interruption.   In order to spare the “Y” any inconvenience until this matter is resolved, Mr. Jordan will be submitting his resignation from the Board of Directors, but will continue the same strong support of the YMCA and its projects which have long characterized his relationship with that wonderful institution.

Pat Jordan, his efforts and talents, as well as the extensive array of skills of his experienced employees, have formed the basis for the success of R.F. Jordan & Sons, and it will continue to provide those same excellent services for many years to come.  Pat personally wishes to thank his many friends who have voiced their strong support for him during this very difficult time.  There is no doubt that this entire unfortunate episode will be satisfactorily resolved.
